Sunday, March 20, 2011 - Artist Way check in. We stayed home and did it. Talked to Marla, who I hadn't talked to for about three months. She's so busy that it's hard to catch up with her. Chatted with a couple of friends.
Monday, March 21, 2011 - Artist Way always and ever...lol. Worked on a story and an novel. Talked to Jesse for a little bit. Talked to another friend that I hadn't spoken to for a while. Talked to several other people.
Tuesday, March 22, 2011 - Did my Artist Way. Chatted with several friends. Something weird is going on with my Yahoo IM and my senior people meet id got hacked. That was interesting.
Said good-bye to a dear friend.
Wednesday, March 23, 2011 - Worked on my Artist Way. This week is weird. WOW was here to switch my cable provider from Insight to WOW. We went with a three way bundle (like we had with Insight) cable, internet, and phone. The cable and internet went without a hitch. However the phones are messed up. The home phone number is now a temporary number, which in a week (supposedly when they fix this issue) the temporary number will become my fax number. This is a totally different number from the original fax number. The home phone number will be restored and will be my home number. It was trash day today so I got that all together and now my sciatic nerve is seriously painful.
Thursday, March 24, 2011 - Artist Way always! Took a upgrade to Firefox to 4.0 and Yahoo to 9.0. Things have since improved with my Yahoo. Talked to Tom. Chatted with another friend. Wrote on my novel.
Now we are up to today and it seems pretty quiet...so far.

Shame on me! I am so far behind here.
Saturday - February 26, 2011 - Not a very interesting day...that could be why I didn't think of posting anything here. Boring! I did my Artist Way stuff so we could have our check-in tomorrow. That was about all that I did.
Sunday - February 27, 2011 - Artist Way check-in day we did it over breakfast and lingered where we were until we were done check-in. Did some laundry. Worked on my on-line art class. Stopped doing surveys. I was tired of all the email crap that it generated. Heard from Tom for a little bit of time. Did some knitting.
Monday - February 28, 2011 - Artist Way first and foremost. Cleaned the corner in my office. Communicated with Tom for a little bit. Played my drum and harmonica for half an hour.
Tuesday - March 1, 2011 - Artist Way (what's new...lol). Went to the Bradford Culinary School with Kent. I was very impressed! It looks like a well run school and Kent is so suited for it. He loves to cook and create pretty plates of food. He has started the process of enrolling. He stated that he would like to live on campus if possible.
Wednesday - March 2, 2011 - Did my pages for Artist Way. Submitted a proposal to a Literary Agent to see if they would take me on as a client. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to even expect a reply. Skyped with a dear friend. Got the trash together. All in all a good day.
Thursday - March 3, 2011 - Date Day with Tom! Did my artist way. Took a shower. Tom got lost getting here so I had to guide him over the phone....lol. Talk about the blind leading the blind but he got here. We had lunch at Bob Evan's and spent time talking about what we liked and did for entertainment. Now since this was the first face-to-face meeting that we had it seemed to go well, because we've been talking to each other since December. Weather and distance had made this date a hard thing to get accomplished. We kissed hello and goodbye. I did not feel the sizzle that I expected. I don't know about him. He said we'd need to get together again.

Sunday - March 6, 2010 - Artist Way check-in. We did a lunch check-in today at Steak 'N Shake. Kent was with us. When we were done we dropped Kent off at WalMart and Heather and I went to Blacklick Metro Park to spend quiet time in the nature center. This is a Artist way date. Did my laundry and a little knitting.
Monday - March 7, 2010 - Made a new friend - Bob. We are so much alike it is mind boggling. He has the same weird humor that I have. He lives in Youngstown, OH and we chatted. I also have a fan of my poems that contacted me. His name is AJ. He wants me to write his story for him. I told him I'd think about it. Did some shredding of old documents.

For our Artist Date we went to the Giant Eagle Market Place. It's a huge place! The scope of things that were inside the market place was mind boggling. It had daycare, dry cleaners, mini-clinic, cooking demos, groceries, food court, and exotic foods. Too bad we weren't prepared to spend money there. We would have gone overboard. As it was we were broke...thank goodness!

Thursday - March 17, 2011 - Artist Way had to do my three pages and my tasks for the week. Worked on my website and AJ's story. Talked to AJ and Bob. Called WOW to see about switching our cable provider to get a lower price. They had a lower package with more perks. Worked on my novel.

Sunday, February 20, 2011 - Caught this blog up to Sunday. Most of the day was taken with our Artist Way check in. We ended up doing it in three stages. Things kept getting in the way.
Monday, February 21, 2011 - Started doing online surveys...this could be interesting. Talked to Tom and two friends today. Looked into getting a literary agent to take me on as a client. I found a couple that I thought might be a good fit for me. I'll need to find out what kind of information they need to even think about taking me on. Did my Artist Way pages.
Tuesday, February 22, 2011 - Worked on my Artist Way morning pages. Spent the morning doing surveys. Scheduled a ride to the culinary school with Kent. Talked to Stephanie for an hour, catching up on things. Tom was supposed to come into town today but the weather here is bad and since he's north of here his area was getting the brunt of the storm.
Wednesday, February 23, 2011 - Normal Artist Way morning pages. Did my surveys. Worked on getting the necessary stuff together to submit to an agent. Worked on two other novels. Talked to Kurt Jesse for a few minutes. Got the trash ready to go out.
Thursday, February 24, 2011 - Dawn, I cooked my first crock pot meal. I did a few things in not the right manner, but it tasted great. It turned out that we had a guest for dinner. One of Heather's friends from Dayton was in town doing job interviews. I had made a pot roast. Talked to Kurt Jesse, again, for a few minutes. Did my surveys. Talked to a friend for half an hour. Worked on one of my novels.

Talked to Tom. Started correspondence with a fellow poet. He encouraged me to write more and to join the forum.
Friday, February 18, 2011 - Artist Way, did surveys, did laundry and found out the dryer wouldn't start. Went searching for an Agent. Found a few that I will get in touch with. Worked on two of my novels. Read some of my new friend's poems....he's pretty good. We went to Hobby Lobby for our Artist date, then we went to Walmart.

Then we went to True Valu hardware to find a replacement knob for the timer dial. That is what is not working on the dryer. It's cracked. Finished my laundry from yesterday. Did a quick scan on my computer and did a couple of surveys.

Sunday, January 30, 2011 - Started the Artist Way with Heather. The Artist Way is to help you release your inner artist/child. To think outside the box. We'll see how this goes. Posted on this blog as well.
Monday, January 31, 2011 - The Artist Way has given us morning tasks. The task is write three pages of whatever flows through our brain in the early morning. This could become a challenge. We had to take the car to the mechanic on Friday and we got it back today. We were able to scrape enough money together to pay the bill. Talked to a lot of people today. Some were business concerns, some were friends, and some were family.

Saturday - January 15, 2011 - Nothing unusual going on today. I caught this blog up like I'm doing right now. Talked to Tom for a few minutes.
Sunday - January 16, 2011 - Talked to Stephanie for an hour or so, just catching up on things. Worked on my novel and posted another poem.
Monday - January 17, 2011 - The three of us went to the zoo today. Even though it was cold and windy out most of the places that were open to the public were inside...like the aquarium and the gorillas. Talked to Steve's brother Ed for over an hour....he needed computer help. Worked on my book. Chatted with Walter.
Tuesday - January 18, 2011 - Laundry began escaping from the clothes hamper so I did laundry today. Walter and I yakked at each other for 3 hours. He is such a goof ball. Worked on my novel and tweeked another novel. Stephanie called again to fill me in on things. I talked to Tom for a little bit.
Wednesday - January 19, 2011 - Spent time talking to Stephanie and Walter. Worked on both the novels from yesterday. Walter will be unavailable to talk for awhile. Got the trash together.
Thursday - January 20, 2011 - Talked to Kurt Jesse, Stephanie, Tom, and an old friend. Worked on both my novels some more.
Friday - January 21, 2011 - Talked to Tom, Rodney (Stephanie's husband), and Michelle. Posted another poem and worked on my main novel.

Kurt Jesse called, Diane (his wife) was in the hospital giving birth. He called me numerous times all stressed out. They induced her but it wasn't working so they decided to do a C-section.
Friday - January 28, 2011 - Posted another poem for people to read. Worked on my novel. Talked to Ed. The C-section was done today and a healthy baby girl was delivered.

Now we are caught up to today which is still in progress. We have Brian and Mark (Heather's fellow) here at the moment. Diane called, they were on their way home from the hospital.
Saturday - January 15, 2011 - Nothing unusual going on today. I caught this blog up like I'm doing right now. Talked to Tom for a few minutes.
Sunday - January 16, 2011 - Talked to Stephanie for an hour or so, just catching up on things. Worked on my novel and posted another poem.
Monday - January 17, 2011 - The three of us went to the zoo today. Even though it was cold and windy out most of the places that were open to the public were inside...like the aquarium and the gorillas. Talked to Steve's brother Ed for over an hour....he needed computer help. Worked on my book. Chatted with Walter.
Tuesday - January 18, 2011 - Laundry began escaping from the clothes hamper so I did laundry today. Walter and I yakked at each other for 3 hours. He is such a goof ball. Worked on my novel and tweeked another novel. Stephanie called again to fill me in on things. I talked to Tom for a little bit.
Wednesday - January 19, 2011 - Spent time talking to Stephanie and Walter. Worked on both the novels from yesterday. Walter will be unavailable to talk for awhile. Got the trash together.
Thursday - January 20, 2011 - Talked to Kurt Jesse, Stephanie, Tom, and an old friend. Worked on both my novels some more.
Friday - January 21, 2011 - Talked to Tom, Rodney (Stephanie's husband), and Michelle. Posted another poem and worked on my main novel.
Saturday - January 22, 2011 - Shredded some old documents. Started reading the Artist Way. Heather and I are going to do this creative, think outside the box, course and see where we end up. Worked on my novel. Chatted with Tom.
Sunday - January 23, 2011 - Tom and I talked and chatted. Worked on reading the Artist Way.
Monday - January 24, 2011 - Tom and I talked and chatted. We were supposed to get together today but the weather was to bad for his drive. Read more of the Artist Way. Worked on my novel. Talked to my friend Janet. She just found out she has a heart problem. She wanted to hear about the cardio-cath and if I disliked having it done. I told her it didn't bother me at all. Emailed another old friend.
Tuesday - January 25, 2011 - Read more of the Artist Way. Went to Kroger's to pick up my meds. Walter has returned to my world. I missed him. Worked on my novel.
Wednesday - January 26, 2011 - Trash day...woo hoo! Went to WalMart with the troops. Did some more laundry. Read more of the Artist Way. Talked to Walter and James.
Thursday - January 27, 2011 - Chatted with Tom and Walter. Read more of the Artist Way. Finished up the laundry. Worked on my novel. Kurt Jesse called, Diane (his wife) was in the hospital giving birth. He called me numerous times all stressed out. They induced her but it wasn't working so they decided to do a C-section.
Friday - January 28, 2011 - Posted another poem for people to read. Worked on my novel. Talked to Ed. The C-section was done today and a healthy baby girl was delivered.
Saturday - January 29, 2011 - Read the Artist Way and worked on my novel.

Hello! New Year, new things going on.
Sunday, January 9, 2011 - Worked on a Short Story for a PBS short story competition. Kent returned from Texas late this evening. He had a good time, but we're glad to have him home safe.
Monday, January 10, 2011 - Talked to the Aetna nurse for half an hour today. It was our usual monthly visit. We discussed how I was feeling and things to do in this month to improve my health...ha,ha. Spent a little time chatting with Walter. Worked on my Short Story and my novel. Talked to Tom to arrange a meeting...our "first" date so to say. He has called me several times and now it's time to meet. He's 71 years old. Lives in Columbus Grove, Oh. and is a retired truck driver. He's 6'1", says he has red hair and blue eyes. I'd bet his hair used to be red and is probably gray.
Tuesday, January 11, 2011 - Talked to Chip via Skype today. He and Margaret are doing well. They stayed inside for the holidays. Worked on my novel. Talked to Walter.
Wednesday, January 12, 2011 - Talked to Michelle for half an hour or so. Did some laundry. Wrapped Kent's birthday presents while Heather made him a birthday cake. Worked on my Short Story. Tom called and we cancelled our "first" date due to the snow storms we were having. Worked on my novel. Gathered the trash. Heather cooked a birthday meal for Kent which consisted of steak, baked potato, and brussel sprouts. She filled the house with smoke and we all had coughing fits. Doors were opened and fans turned on to clear the smoke out. The meal was tasty.
Thursday, January 13, 2011 - Worked on my laundry some more. Spent time chatting with Walter. Worked on my novel. Submitted the Short Story. Winners will be announced in February.
Friday, January 14, 2011 - Talked to Stephanie for 45 minutes. Chatted with Tom for half an hour. Worked on my novel. Worried about Walter. I knew he was going to be out of commission for a while (24 hrs) due to the procedure on his back. I still missed talking with him though.
